“+”

Used for – “+” Function in MS Excel is used tell MS excel that a excel has to add up the cell value (if numbers/fraction) / numbers / fraction and display the end result achieved.

Syntax – “+” is syntax in itself i.e. no syntax is used for it.

Example – Suppose you have to add value of cell B3 & B7 and C3 to I3 and result should be displayed in cell A1 and B1 respectively, then you have choice either use “SUM” formula or use “+” formula. Here we do this by using “+”first. See example below:-

1	=B3+B7	=C3+D3+E3+F3+G3+H3+I3

And result you get as under:-
